New Regulations on required website content from Companies House

An update to the UK Companies Act 2006 means that from 1st January companies must include certain information on their website.

These include:

  • The company's name
  • The company's registered office address
  • The company's place of registration and registration

An additional element to the updated act includes emails. As emails can also be considered your electronic letterhead it is now a requirement to show the information required for company letterhead to be shown on company emails.
